A team of academics from the Harvard Graduate School of Education and the Department of Romance Languages and Literatures, led by Doris Sommer, Gigi Luk, and Eileen de los Reyes, worked on a pilot Pre-Texts program with teachers from Waltham Public Schools. With the support and collaboration of the Waltham Education Superintendent, Drew Echelson, the program not only contributed to teaching and learning with an innovative methodology focused on literacy, innovation, and citizenship within schools, but it also included an important impact study.
