The Humanities Institute at the University of Texas, Austin, and the Blanton Museum of Art, invited Prof. Doris Sommer of Cultural Agents to facilitate three days of lively engagement with Cultural Agents’ work from April 3 to 6, 2019.

 

Doris Sommer delivered the second lecture in the Institute’s Distinguished Visiting Lecture Series, “Narrative and Social Justice.” Dr. Sommer’s lecture, “Pre-Texts in a Dublin Prison: StoryDads Tell Tall Tales” took place on Wednesday, April 3, 2019 at 7pm at the Blanton Museum of Art’s Auditorium.

 

A playful rendition of Rapunzel was the outcome of a collaborative Pre-Texts and cartonera book-making session– video.
