On November 13, Victoria Mena (CAI Administrator) led a workshop for language professors at Jorge Tadeo Lozano University. Participants engaged in reading, discussion, and Greek theater-inspired performances, fostering creativity and a profound connection to texts.
A brief evaluation of the workshop reveals that it was highly satisfactory. The rules set, and the activities designed to foster a proper understanding of the texts were key in ensuring the active participation of all students. Thanks to these dynamics, it was prevented that some students held back and could not fully engage in the process.
Furthermore, the combination of different sensory approaches, such as reading, discussion, and representation, allowed for greater introspection and comprehension of the content. This enabled the students to internalize the text more deeply, even going as far as representing it through a staging inspired by Greek theatre, demonstrating their ability to interpret and express the content creatively.
In summary, the workshop was a rewarding experience that encouraged active participation and a deeper understanding of the texts worked on.
