As a result of the Pre-Texts workshop at Microsoft Garage on January 15-17, Professor Maricela Reyes shared her experience replicating the methodology with children in the Pluma Poética program. Through literary exploration, creative writing, and artistic expression, young participants engaged with texts interactively, integrating drawing, performance, and storytelling to deepen their understanding. This initiative highlights how Pre-Texts nurtures critical thinking and creativity, empowering children to interpret, question, and create. The success of this replication reinforces the power of Pre-Texts in diverse educational settings, proving that literature is not just read—it is performed, embodied, and shared.
