The Cultural Agents Initiative, the Harvard Department of Romance Languages and Literatures, and the Graduate School of Arts and Sciences at Harvard University offered the first intensive cretificate program in the PRE-Texts methodology from August 29th to September 1st, 2012. The training was led by Doris Sommer and organized by Harvard graduate student Jerónimo Duarte Riascos and Cultural Agents Initiative intern Stephanie Cedeño.

The program was designed to offer certification to participating educators, teaching artists and Harvard Graduate students through a four-day intensive training followed by field experience in one of the PRE-Texts sites in Boston. The training started off with activities conducted by Jerónimo and Stephanie and by the end of the week every participant had developed and facilitated a creative and unique activity, some of which will be added to the PRE-Texts Manual.
