The Literature Out Loud (LOL) curriculum is an adaptation of the PRE-Texts methodology for Asian schools. It was adapted in 2010 specifically for Chinese schools by Therese Condit, Ed.M. (Harvard Graduate School of Education) in collaboration and under the aegis of Wiseman Education (Hong Kong, China). LOL is taught at Wiseman's three educational centers in Hong Kong, Shenzhen (mainland China) and Khon Kaen, Thailand.

LOL is an integrated literacy and arts curriculum that aims to increase student confidence, creativity and motivation for reading and writing in a second language. LOL curriculum integrates arts education (drawing, theater, music, dance, etc.) in the teaching of language and literature. It encourages students to take ownership of their learning process by helping them connect language and literature with themselves and the world around them.
