
Musical PRE-Texts trains facilitators to develop a range of interrelated musical and higher order intellectual skills for children and youth. Musical PRE-Texts is a partnership between MESDA and the Cultural Agents Initiative. The program combines the demonstrated effectiveness of two complementary pedagogical innovations: the broad-based classical music education associated with El Sistema, pioneered in Venezuela by José Antonio Abreu and Harvard University's arts-literacy program PRE-Texts.
